Group Descriptions
- Quilt Group: This group generally meets on the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 1 - 3 p.m. During this time, the quilters hand quilt items to be sold in museum's gift shop and during the annual Craft Show. Many choose to work on smaller items to donate at home, but it is not expected. They also hold occasional social gatherings outside of the regular meetings and assist with staffing the annual May Quilt Show, the 100% room at the annual Craft Show, and other special events as needed.
- Textile Group: This groups meets one evening a month to work on anything textile related. Popular projects include embroidery, crochet, knitting, weaving, and/or spinning. They help staff special events as able.
- Garden Group: this group has minimal scheduled meetings, but is instrumental in preparing, maintaining, and winterizing the Heritage House gardens. Volunteers are able to take some of the crops home, but most items are donated to the local food bank. They also help staff special events as able.
- Craft Group: This group meets weekly to work on various craft projects. They have been pivotal in the new December Holidays exhibit. They help staff the annual Craft Show, special events, and exhibits.
